FAT TIRES: Pros and cons

Nief designs, produces and sells FAT electric bicycles, which stands for electric bicycles with wide wheels.
Our APRUM and COLOSSEO series models are equipped with 4" (10.16 cm) wide tires.

Advantages:
These tires are very stable and safe, even on damaged and unpaved roads and off-road. They have a lower pressure, which significantly dampens vibrations and
guarantee comfort.

Disadvantages:
Wide tires cause more friction, which reduces the range by 10-15% compared to a traditional electric bicycle.
Fat Bikes have a total weight of 26 to 32 kg
